Lent Retreat in Daily Living – Conclusion

This week I had the final group session of the Lenten Retreat in Daily Living I gave at UST and at St. Hubert’s. During this past week, the retreatants prayed with the Passion of Christ through Good Friday, with the Tomb Day Experience on Holy Saturday and with the Resurrection (Week 4 of the Spiritual Exercises) from Easter morning through our last session. During our group meeting this week, which began (as each of our weekly sessions do) with a period during which the participants engage in small group sharing of their prayer experience during the prior week, I talked a little more about praying with the resurrected Christ and about the Contemplatio, a prayer exercise that comes at the end of the Spiritual Exercises. We then had a short guided reflection on the graces of the retreat.

You can find the recording of the talk I gave this week at St. Thomas here. (The podcast runs for 14:51 and ends with the guided reflection.) You can find here a copy of the post-retreat prayer material I gave to the retreatants.
