Today was a beautiful day at the Jesuit Retreat House in OshKosh. Sunshine, cool breezes, the sounds of birds, pelicans in flight (more about the pelicans another day). I even got out for a bicycle ride this afternoon after I was finished today’s sessions with each of the five retreatants I am directing.
This evening, I led the evening prayer, after which I took a final walk outside. Here is what I stood gazing at, as I stood near the shore of Lake Winnebago.
